Mr. Joey Segura joined the Fuel Cycle & Materials Laboratory (FCML) during the spring of 2011. Mr. Segura is currently within his senior year at Texas A&M, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science. Upon graduating from Texas A&M, he plans to earn his certification to teach high school life science. He also shares an interest in football and baseball and hopes to coach at the high school level. Mr. Segura has acquired training on website development and graphics design during his time with the FCML through recent projects including assisting the program manager in the creation and upkeep of the FCML Program Office webpage, site graphics, and FCML logos. He also assists with daily FCML Program Office operations including electronic and hard-file organization, record upkeep, and in offering assistance to students with program needs.

In addition, Mr. Segura assists with FCML faculty and student travel coordination and credit card reconciliation procedures. Aside from his responsibilities with the FCML Program Office, he has served as a co-chairperson of Camp Bermudez within the Fish Camp organization on campus; one of the leading new student orientation programs in the nation. His experience with the student Fish Camp organization has equipped him with the necessary leadership, time management, creativity and customer service skills necessary to perform his job with the highest quality.
